Welcome to my world. I am retired from several years of geophysical exploration with Western Geophysical Company of Houston, Texas, and lived in various countries: Libya, Malta, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Thailand, and the People's Republic of China. I have visited for work or pleasure to Mexico, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines (home of my spouse), Hong Kong, Korea, India, Qatar, Oman, Germany, Holland, United Kingdom, Spain, Majorca, Italy, Kenya. I speak a little Spanish, Arabic, and Thai.

Now after retiring from 17 years of EMS service with a big metroplex I settled down to water rescue/fire fighting as a current passion.

Other interests include wood working and making things like electric guitars, wood turned cremation urns, wood wine glasses, wood fishing lures and other assorted items for art or pleasure.
